Iragi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to acquire rice, oil, cassava flour, corn flour, coals, and potatoes, which will support her initial capital.

Iragi Group's story

Mme Aisha is a client of Hekima IMF and presides over the banque villageoise Iragi. She is a widow, 48 years old, and mother of seven children, all of whom are in school.

She is a food vendor in her restaurant. She started this business 14 years ago with startup funds from her family. Later she got involved in the Hekima program to support her business, over the course of which she progressively improved. With this new loan, she is going to acquire rice, oil, casava flour, corn flour, coals, and potatoes, that will support her initial capital. This challenge in her business is tied to the perturbations in businesses caused by Covid-19.

She would like for her children to continue to study and for her to feed her family. Finally, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners without means during the global crisis linked to Covid-19. The photo is only of the group leader due to Covid-19.
