Mujembere Group's story

Mme Esperance is a client of Hekima IMF et presides over the group Mujembere. She is married, 40 years old, and the mother of seven children, all of whom are in school. Her partner is a merchant.

She is a meat vender. She started this business in 2009 with startup funds from her husband. Later, she became involved in the Hekima program to support her business, over the course of which she progressively improved. With this new loan, she is going to acquire a cow, which will reinforce her initial capital. The weakness in her business is linked to increased exchange rate for dollars.

She would like to grow her business and to diversity her business. Finally, she wants to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners without means during the global crisis linked to Covid-19. The photo is only of the group leader due to Covid-19.
