Shalom Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy one bag of corn flour and one bag of cassava, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Shalom Group's story

Horonate is a customer of the microfinance institution called Hekima and she is the representative of the group "Shalom". She is married, fifty years old and the mother of seven children who all go to school. Her partner is a nurse.
She is a seller of corn flour and cassava. She started this company in 2005 with starting funds received from the Hekima program to support businesses, during which she slowly made progress. With this new loan, she will source one bag of corn flour and one bag of cassava, which will strengthen her initial capital. Her business' main challenge is related to the increase in the value of the dollar, [which causes] currency devaluation.
She would like to keep her children in school. Lastly, she would like to thank Hekima and their partners for the support they provide to non-bankable entrepreneurs in this context of the global Covid-19 crisis. Because of Covid-19, only the leader of the group is on the picture.
