A loan helped to stock up on peanuts and eggs in gross, which will build up her initial capital.

Magnifique Tmk Group's story

Marcelline is a client of the Hekima microfinance institution and runs the Magnifique TMK Group. She is a 56-year-old widow and the mother of nine children, two of whom go to school and seven of whom have finished their education.

She is a grocery seller. She started this business in 2019 with the start up funds that she received from her income-generating activity at the time. Later she got involved with the Hekima program to support her business, during which she evolved progressively. With this new loan, she will stock up on peanuts and eggs in gross, which will build up her initial capital. The challenge of her business is linked to the increase in the exchange rate of dollars.

She would like to build up her business. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they bring to owners of cashless businesses in the context of the global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo is only of the leader of the group, due to COVID-19.
