San Jose Obrero Group's loan finished fundraising,

A loan helped to buy nail polish, nail files, nail polish removers, clippers, cottons and other supplies.

San Jose Obrero Group's story

The group called San Jose Obrero is in its 9th loan cycle of the women’s committee program, in which everyone works and helps each other to get ahead. Their goal is to grow financially and personally in order to give their loved ones a decent future.

One of the members is Clara, who with a lot of effort and consistent work is able to support her family as a manicurist. She is a persistent woman who does not give up and fights to get ahead and improve herself, as she has done so far.

She says that the crisis that the world is undergoing with COVID-19 has stopped her from continuing with her work as usual, and for that reason she has not been able to generate the same resources for supporting her family. This has also had consequences for her business because she was not able to fulfill her obligations. However, she is not discouraged and will continue fighting to improve herself.

She is requesting this loan to inject capital to her business and buy nail polish, nail files, nail polish remover, clippers, cottons and other supplies she needs to build up her business again.

Notes: there is only one person in the picture, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo due to the overcrowding and the measures taken with COVID-19.
