Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to refinance her debt and invest capital in her business.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The group called Mujeres Unidas is a group that is in its ninth cycle with 25 members. They all continue working with the foundation with great satisfaction, since it is a very united group, where all of the women are committed and responsible.

One of the members is Marcelina who makes a living selling eggs and chickens that she produces. She feels grateful for being part of the group, since it permits her to be able to grow and improve her quality of life and that of her loved ones.

She mentions that her work has allowed her to be able to help her family thrive so that they do not have to forego any type of necessity. She also comments that due to the COVID19 pandemic her work as well as her income have been impacted, which has prevented her from covering and meeting her obligations, but despite this she does not give up and looks to better herself.

She asks for this loan to be able to refinance her debt and invest capital in her business, in order to be able to continue with her growing and sales.

Note: In the photo there appears only one person, but this is a group loan. A group photo was not possible due to the avoidance of gatherings of people as a result of the Covid-19 pandemic.
