Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The committee is called Mujeres Unidas [United Women]. They are in their twelfth cycle with 20 members, all of whom are hard working women with fixed goals. They are characterised by their spirit of unity and cooperation.
One of the members is Nilda. She is a hardworking woman. She sells meals, which gives her the income to support her loved ones. She describes herself as a determined person who does not let the difficulties she has faced defeat her and looks for ways to better herself every day. Nilda and the other committee members are very enthusiastic, always looking for ways to improve themselves.
She is asking for this loan to invest in buying ingredients to continue making her meals. Buying meat, breads, vegetables, tinned goods, condiments and other products will allow her to continue with her work.
Note: Only one person appears in the photo however this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid a gathering of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
