Boureima's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 70 rams and food and to save up to take care of his children.

Boureima's story

Boureima is a 52-year-old polygamous man and the father of 10 children, 5 of whom go to school. He has been raising ruminant animals for more than 12 years in a neighborhood on the outskirts. He is experienced in raising small ruminants.

He is on his ninth loan cycle with the microfinance institution YIKRI and repays his loans on time and repaid his first Kiva loan without any difficulty. He is again requesting a loan to buy 70 rams and food to raise them in order to resell them at an opportune moment. He plans to reinvest his profit into his livestock raising and to save up to take care of his children.

Finally, he is always thankful to YIKRI and its partners for their support. He is inviting everyone to protect themselves from Covid-19.
