Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase wood, paint and tools.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

This group is called Mujeres Emprendedoras [Women Entrepreneurs] because that is what they are. The group is in its fifth cycle, and all the members are fighting for a better quality of life and to be able to give their loved ones everything they could not have.

One of the members is Maria, who is not only a member but also the president of the committee. She wants to be an example for her fellow group members. She says that she has a carpentry shop where she produces all kinds of furniture. She also says that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, she has been unable to work and generate the income necessary to help her family.

In order to meet the demand she has, Maria is requesting this loan to buy raw materials to make blackboards, such as wood, paint and tools. She is grateful for the opportunity she is receiving to access this loan and to make her way in life.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this loan is for a group. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the act of crowding people together is being avoided, so the group photo was not possible.
