A loan helped refinance her debt and purchase fruits and fresh vegetables.

San Miguel Group's story

The San Miguel Group was formed through the union of friends and neighbors looking to take care of each other and to improve their family's standard of living.

A member of the group, Emilia, makes an honest living selling fruit salads, and also selling fruits and vegetables. The crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic has made her job more difficult. This has affected her income, since she has been unable to continue working normally and, thus, has not earned a steady income.

Emilia's goal is to rebuild her business, which is why she is requesting a loan in order to refinance her debt and purchase fruits and fresh vegetables so she may continue catering to the needs of her clients. Emilia is thankful for the opportunity offered and, through this loan, she is confident she can continue taking care of her family.
