Kuña Guapa Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fabric in bulk for her dressmaking business.

Kuña Guapa Group's story

The communal bank "Kuña Guapa" is in its 13th loan cycle in the Program of Women's Committees. All of the members are working and helping each other to get ahead. This group is taking the Poverty Elimination Survey. All of the members are fighting for success, because this will enable them to provide their loved ones with everything they were not able to have.

Esperanza is one of the members of this group. She has a dressmaking business. She states that she has a small dressmaking workshop where she does all kinds of work. With her business, she is able to provide better living conditions for her loved ones.

Esperanza mentions that she fights for her family, so that she can give them a better quality of life than she had, and so that they do not face any hardships. She is grateful for the opportunity to invest in her business and improve it.

Esperanza is requesting this loan to invest in buying fabric in bulk. This way, she can continue with her dressmaking activities and satisfy her customers.

Note: In the photo, you see only one person, but this loan is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo because of the need to avoid putting people in close proximity due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
