A loan helped to buy fertilizers for her corn crop.

Guillermina's story

Guillermina lives with her partner who is a farmer. She has three children who are all grown and live independently. Guillermina works making pupusas (traditional thick stuffed tortillas) and she learned the business when she worked in a similar job when she was young. She has the business in her home and she sells food from 7am to 4pm.

She also grows squash and corn, and she cares for pigs and sells jocotes (a sour fruit) in honey. Currently she has been affected by the crisis of COVID-19. She needs the loan in order to buy fertilizers for her corn crop.

Guillermina dreams of continuing to invest in her business and improving her income.
