Mark Anthony's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy assorted canned goods, bath and laundry products, trays of eggs and frozen meat products to sell to his customers during the quarantine period.

Mark Anthony's story

Mark Anthony is 40 years old, married and has school-aged children. He works as a traffic enforcer in the city. However, to earn more, Mark Anthony has put up a small store which he has maintained with his wife for several years now. He would usually be in charge of buying their stocks in the market while his wife would be the one doing the actual selling.

When the Covid-19 pandemic broke out, Mark Anthony found it difficult to do marketing as frequently as he used to do due to the community quarantine policy implemented. On top of this, he has also been asked more frequently to be on duty for road checkpoints. On the other hand, his wife could not do the marketing since only one person per household is allowed to go out. He is requesting a loan of PHP 9,000 to buy assorted canned goods, bath and laundry products, trays of eggs and frozen meat products to sell to his customers during the quarantine period. Mark Anthony hopes that by being able to buy in volume he could readily sell to his customers.
