A loan helped to buy piglets for raising.

Ang Cang 07 Group's story

Ban, 51, a Thai ethnic woman, is living with her husband, her adult son and her parents in a small Thai traditional house in Vietnam's northwest mountains.

Like other villagers, her family gets their main income from agricultural production with many small-scale activities such as growing rice and corn, and raising chickens, ducks, pigs and buffalo. Wishing to expand the breeding model, Ban decided to take a loan from the Anh Chi Em program. This is the tenth time of it, and this time the loan will be used to buy piglets for raising.

Ban hopes that with the support from the program, the piglets will grow up fast and healthy so that she could sell them quickly and get the high profit, which she plans to use to continue to develop the breeding model by buying more baby chickens and piglets.
