Mujeres San Luis Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy drinks, bread, vegetables, fruit, tinned goods, cleaning products and other goods.

Mujeres San Luis Group's story

The group Mujeres San Luis was formed by a group of friends and neighbours from the city of Caaguazú who are looking for ways to improve their quality of life. This is why they are part of the Poverty Stoplight program.
One of the members of the group is Clarissa. She is a saleswoman. She has a general store in her house. She says that through her work she has been able to earn the means to help her family to get ahead so that they are not in need. Clarissa adds that she saw the group as an opportunity to grow and move forward thanks to the support given to them by the Fundación Paraguaya with their continued training.
She is asking for this loan to buy a range of products to stock her shop with items such as drinks, bread, vegetables, fruit, tinned goods and cleaning products.
Note: There is only one person in the photo, however this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo in order to avoid a gathering of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
