La Esperanza Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy baked and canned goods, drinks, meat, dairy products and other items.

La Esperanza Group's story

This group is called La Esperanza (Hope), and it was formed by friends and neighbors coming together because they were looking for ways to improve their quality of life and that of their loved ones. The group is in its 20th cycle of the women's committee program.

Francisca is one of the members. She is a merchant and has a small general store set up in her house. With her work she generates the means to help support her home. Francisca is a selfless person who started with very little, and she has been growing thanks to her effort and sacrifice.

She says that in the face of the crisis that the world is going through due to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, her business has not done so well, and she is looking for a way to invest in it in order to give it a boost.

Francisca is requesting this loan to purchase drinks, baked goods, meat, canned goods, dairy products and other items so she can continue with her work as she has been doing.

Note: Only one person appears in this photo, but this loan is for a group. The group photo was not possible due to efforts to avoid crowding people together because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
