Annabelle's story

I was raised in NYC, and have also lived in Paris and Los Angeles.  I had a long career in the fashion industry, first in wholesale sales at a luxury shoe company. Following that, I transitioned into product development, trend forecasting, and design of fashion accessories.  After many years in NYC, I moved to LA, where my life was transformed by 2 small special needs rescue pugs, aptly named Sunny & Breeze.  These two little angels taught me patience, joy, and the meaning of fidelity, along with a little mischief thrown in for good measure.  Upon returning to NYC, I had the revelation that I no longer wanted to contribute to the waste that fast fashion creates, where everything I developed was seemingly disposable.  After having previously worked in Paris, where I would raid every patisserie I could find for scrumptious pastries, I decided to embark on a new career path as a Pastry Chef.  I passionately fell in love with creating food that visually pleases, delights one's palette, nourishes a basic need, and tries to eliminate waste.  To say my life changed dramatically is an understatement: the many hours, working during odd times, the change in income and lifestyle.  But it was single handedly the best choice I have ever made.   What made me get through the tough times, was an incredible sense of fulfillment.  Around this time, I discovered the need for my dogs to cool down after a walk on a hot day, so I developed a frozen treat for them to appease their discomfort. This company has grown from the product I initially developed for them, and I am so excited to bring it to market!
