Mujeres Kuña Pora Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy baked goods, meat, canned goods, vegetables, fruit, cleaning products, and other items.

Mujeres Kuña Pora Group's story

The group called Kuña Pora was formed by the union of friends and neighbors from the city of Caaguazú who are looking for ways to be able to improve the quality of life for themselves and their loved ones. They're in their first loan cycle in the women's bank program as well as in the poverty-elimination program.

One of the women is Susan, who works in sales. She has a grocery store in her home and she said she started with little but has been improving and growing thanks to her effort and daily sacrifice. She's an enterprising person who makes sacrifices so she can give her family a decent life with no needs.

She's requesting this loan to be able to buy a variety of products to stock her business with baked goods, meat, canned goods, vegetables, fruit, cleaning products, and other items.

Note: There's only one person in the photo, but this is a group loan. It wasn't possible to take a group photo because of social distancing during the Covid-19 pandemic.
