Esperanza Group

Villa Elisa, Central, Paraguay / Food

Esperanza Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy vegetables, meat, baked good, condiments, chicken and other products.

Esperanza Group's story

The group called Esperanza is at its sixth cycle in the program of the women's committee, in which all work and help each other to move forward. The goal they set for themselves is to grow, not only economically, but also personally.

Idalia is one of them. She says that she works selling prepared food that she herself makes every day from early in the morning. She also says that, with her work, she was able to help her family and give them a better quality of life than the one she herself had. She tells that, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, her sales have been considerably reduced. In spite of this, she tries to find a way to improve and outdo herself.

She requests this loan to invest it in buying ingredients to prepare her food, like vegetables, meat, baked goods, condiments, chicken, and other products. She is grateful for the opportunity of being part of the group and, by this, of being able to offer her customers the best.

NB: the photo features only one person, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo because of the need to avoid the gathering of people due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
