Bella Lucero Group

Managua, MN, Nicaragua / Food

Bella Lucero Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy sugar, milk, rice, and soda for the store and another part for fertilizers for the vegetable garden.

Bella Lucero Group's story

Paula Antonia (the woman wearing an apron with her hand raised) is a member of the communal bank "Bella Lucero" in Managua, Nicaragua. As a little girl, she worked in the fields and today she works both in agriculture and at a convenience store. Despite financial constraints, she has navigated life with her head held high and with the force of a warrior in order to raise her children. One of them is 18 years old and has brain damage.

Today she needs your financial support. She is a responsible woman who is true to her word. With this loan she will buy sugar, milk, rice, and soda for the store. She will also use part of it to buy fertilizers for the vegetable garden where she grows corn and different types of squash to sell.

Our admiration for brave and powerful mothers!
