Mujeres En Accion Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to purchase starch, cheese, eggs, butter, salt and other ingredients.

Mujeres En Accion Group's story

The group named Mujeres en Accion was formed in the Curuguaty zone. It is a very dangerous zone, that is, an area that is sensitive to the social conflict it is going through. They commented that they fight to offer better living conditions to their families.

Fulgencia is one of the members who makes a living through sales. She makes chipas (a traditional Paraguayan food) that she is in charge of making early each day. She mentions that through her work, she generates the resources to get her family ahead and is able to give them a dignified quality of life.

She is requesting a loan to purchase starch, cheese, eggs, butter, salt and other ingredients to continue with her sales as she has been. She is grateful for the opportunity to be a member of this group that has given her a lot of support.

Note: One person appears in this photo, but this is a group loan. It is not possible to get a group photo in order to avoid people gathering due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
