El Pueblito Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to buy chicks and other animals to raise and sell.

El Pueblito Group's story

The group named El Pueblito formed when a group of friends and neighbors from the city of Ybycui came together. They are searching for a way to improve their own quality of life along with that of their loved ones. They are in their seventh loan cycle with the Women's Committees Program.

Señora Maria is one of the group. She makes a living selling food. She mentions that due to the crisis that the world is passing through with the spreading of the Covid-19 pandemic, this has prevented her from working the way she normally does, and generating the means to help her family, which brings consequences for her business.

She comments that she will no longer carry out food sales; she will make a living by forming a little farm, in which she will raise chicks for later sale. She needs capital to establish her new business and meet her obligations.

She is requesting this loan in order to invest in her new work activity, which is her little farm. She wants to buy chicks and other animals to raise and sell.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo, due to the necessity to avoid a crowd of people resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic.
