Total loan: $600

José Segundo

Matagalpa, Matagalpa Department, Nicaragua / Retail

José Segundo's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy snacks, rice, sugar, oil and shampoo for his convenience store.

José Segundo's story

José has twenty years' experience in the commercial sector. He is the owner of a small convenience store where early in the morning he opens his doors to his diverse clientele. José is 69 years old, but that is no impediment in reaching the goals he has set for himself.

José has received prior loans from Kiva, through MiCrédito, which allowed him to buy children's shoes, dish detergent, and personal hygiene items. José is very content at the moment because he expanded his locale.

He now comes to these two organizations again, with the hope of obtaining a loan to buy snacks, rice, sugar, oil and shampoo. In the near future José is thinking of converting his convenience store into a successful distribution center.
