'akanesi's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy mulberry for her tapa making business and also helps her flea market business.

'akanesi's story

Akanesi is a 53-year-old mother of four grown ups and a wife of a farmer. They live in their own home, with their youngest daughter only.

Akanesi runs a business of tapa making and a flea market tent. For her tapa making, she joins a group of women in their village and they conduct their tapa making once a week.

Akanesi sells her tapas through social media to locals and also to people from overseas. But, since the lockdown, only locals can buy her tapas, but with cheaper prices.

For her flea market, Akanesi has her own tent located along the main road of town and her flea market runs every Saturday.

Akanesi is hoping to use her loan money to buy mulberry for her tapa making and to also help her flea market.
