A loan helped to buy second-hand shoes and clothing.

Rafaela's story

Rafaela is a young enterpriser, 20 years old, she has a life partner and no children. She started a business at age 18 making and selling tortillas, activity that she inherited from her mother who was also doing the same work.

She currently has a business of second-hand shoe sales that she set up with her mother's support. She is applying for a Kiva loan through FUNDENUSE for the purchase of second-hand shoes and clothing so that she can have a variety of merchandise to offer her clients. This will allow her to increase sales, and she hopes with all this to improve her standard of living.

Rafaela's immediate goal is to improve the conditions of her business and her future plans are to build her own home.
