El Archipielago Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy milk, curds and cream to sell.

El Archipielago Group's story

Doris, 38, has a life partner and is the mother of two children, a sixteen-year-old and a four-year-old both of whom go to school. She started her business of selling curds and eggs at a very young age. She already had two cows and has now acquired a third one with the profits generated by her business. She has supported her children so they can attend school and will not lack anything. Her previous Kiva loan helped her to purchase dairy products (cream, curd, milk) and concentrated feed for her animals. She is moreover grateful to Kiva for the trust placed on her to work with these loans.

She is requesting a Kiva loan through FUNDENUSE, her second one, to stock her business by purchasing milk, curds, and cream. Her goal for the future is to save toward the purchase of pigs so that she can increase her profits.

Doris belongs to the Archipiélago communal bank, with Irma and Miguel. The group members all know each other, support each other through a solidarity guarantee, have loan experience and wish to invest in and improve their businesses and make the most of the loan opportunity.
