Ousmane's story

Ousmane has six children, four of whom are in school. He has two [additional] dependents. He has been raising cattle and goats for over 15 years in a neighborhood on the outskirts of the capital city. He is on his sixth loan cycle with the IMF Yikri and has repaid his first Kiva loan without difficulty.

Ousmane is seeking a new loan to buy three bulls, ten goats and 50 bags of corn bran to take good care of his animals, attract customers and earn a lot of revenue. Ousmane plans to use his revenue to reinvest in his livestock business and grow his savings to provide for his children. In conclusion, Ousmane thanks Yikri and its partners for their support to entrepreneurs who lack access to traditional banking. He wishes everyone to stay safe from Covid-19.
