Brunilda's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy piglets to raise and sell in order to earn additional income for her family.

Brunilda's story

Brunilda is a member of the vulnerable Roma community in Albania. She is hoping for Kiva lenders' support for the third time. This will enable her to buy piglets to raise and sell in order to earn additional income for her family. "Several years ago, my husband and I worked on a farm where piglets were raised. It was an easy process that offers a good income. We therefore plan to buy some piglets to sell later, so we can earn additional income for our family and try to improve our lives," explained Brunilda in an interview.

Brunilda lives with her husband in a small house in the city of Korce, in southern Albania. Brunilda works in a shoe factory and her husband works as a labourer. They try to provide for their family but the salaries for these jobs are very low, especially for members of vulnerable communities.

Brunilda thanks everyone for their support and wishes Kiva lenders all the best. You are helping people in need who cannot find support anywhere else.
