Benkadi Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy animals to resell in order to take care of his family.

Benkadi Group's story

Sidiki is a 42 year old man from Mali. He is married. He is the father of 7 children, 3 of which are students. His children are from 2 to 14 years old.

Sidiki is an unschooled farmer. He has been farming for more than 10 years. He wishes to increase his farming work so that it is his main source of revenue.

In the photo, he is holding the sheep. He took out a loan from RMCR to buy weak animals (sheep and rams) to take care of them and to feed them in order for resale. He buys his stock from the surrounding villages and sells them to the local market.

After the sale, he can earn 25,000 to 30,000 CFA francs as earnings from each sale. These foreseen earnings after the sale will allow him to take care of his children in regards to hygiene and health.

Despite the small challenges related to animal sickness, he was able to install a large diameter well for his family in order to have access to drinking water.
