Zhamila's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to expand her herd and increase sales of organic milk.

Zhamila's story

Zhamila repaid her loan successfully, and she is grateful to Kiva and to everyone who helped her with financing. Her farm currently has two cows, 40 sheep, two horses, and 4.6 hectares of irrigated land where she grows barley and alfalfa.

In order to further develop her business, she applied to Bai Tushum Bank again for a loan of 220,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cows, with the goal of increasing sales of organic milk and increasing her income from raising livestock. Zhamila plans to invest profits from the loan in the further development of her farm by increasing the number of livestock she owns.
