Ushindi Group's loan finished fundraising, but these other borrowers need your support

A loan helped to supply herself with used shoes in bulk to reinforce her initial capital.

Ushindi Group's story

Mme Florida is a client of Hekima IMF and oversees the banque villageoise “USHINDI.” She is a 52-year-old married woman and mother of 10 children, of whom nine are in school and one is not yet school age. Her partner is a carpenter.

She sells used shoes. She started this business 15 years ago with seed funds from her husband. Later on, she turned to the Hekima program to support her business. Since, she has grown progressively. With this new loan, she is going to supply herself with used shoes in bulk. This will reinforce her initial capital. The challenge she faces with this work is tied to a lack of customers due to the global crisis.

She would like her children to continue their studies and to feed her family. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they have offered to non-bankable businesses during the global COVID-19 crisis. The photo is only the leader of the group because of COVID-19.
