Kyle's story

I am Kyle of Bentonville, Arkansas. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Logistics from Auburn University, I worked for Georgia-Pacific Corporation (GP) in Atlanta, GA for almost 14 years during my 20’s and 30’s in management roles across the Consumer Products Divisions. GP encouraged me to continue my education, and I obtained my Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus in Supply Chain Management from the Sam M. Walton College of Business at the University of Arkansas. This experience led to a graduate research assistantship and later an adjunct supply chain instructor position. After GP sold to a private firm, I moved from Atlanta, GA to Bentonville, AR to create a new department at a supply chain software company. Then at age 41, I decided to pursue my dream to become an entrepreneur and joined up with a friend as Chief Operating Officer to grow a financial services firm that became very successful. At age 50, I decided it was time to pursue my personal passions in helping others through charitable efforts, assisting other businesses with solving their supply chain challenges, as well as recreating and reviving a local, culturally significant part of Bentonville, AR, with its rich apple growing history, by creating our “Ozark Apple Brandy”. This unique product is sold under the historic RG Macon & Carson Apple Brandy label that started in Benton County, Arkansas in 1893, but lay dormant for decades. The personal, charitable passions I support locally, and that my business will support, are those that concern children in need and the homeless through humanitarian and volunteer efforts.
