Mariam Jacqueline is the mother of 6 children. She has been working for over 11 years as a merchant in an outlying area of town. She buys cereals that she stores and resells at the appropriate time.

She has paid pack her third Kiva loan on time and she is asking for a new loan to buy 80 sacks of pearl millet to increase her stock of goods. She wants to reinvest part of her earnings into her business and to save money to improve her family's living conditions.
