Michael's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy farm inputs, such as fertilisers, to expand his crop farm.

Michael's story

Michael, 21 years old, is an enterprising and inspiring small-scale farmer who comes from the Kitale region of Kenya.

He takes care of both his household and his farm. Michael has dairy animals and plants crops on his small farm, mainly for domestic consumption in a move to counter rising food prices.

He wants to utilise his entire farm for planting more crops for commercial purposes in a rotational program he learned in a farmers' training session. He believes that he'll be able to increase his profit and have more income to provide for his family.

He has applied for this loan so he can buy fertiliser and plant more corn. Michael is a visionary who always hopes for the best. He has promised to repay his loan and is very thankful to his lenders for believing in him and making his dreams come true.
