Luz De Vida Group's story

Alba is a member of the supportive group "Luz de Vida" with six other members, Blanca, Dolia, Gabriela, Reyna, Sandra, and Lidia. She is 38 years old and the mother of two daughters. She is a trustworthy and honest person. She has worked making and selling Nicaraguan tamales and donuts for the last six years. Her greatest wish is to prepare her daughters professionally.

She requests a loan from Fundenuse with funds from Kiva to invest into buying raw materials to make her products. She is grateful to Fundenuse and Kiva for their financial trust and the financial support granted to her and as the coordinator of the group she urges the other members to invest and pay the granted loans in a good way, since with the help of God and the funding she has her house and her own business. Her next goal is to make improvements to her home and in the future she wants to sell her products outside of the community where she lives.
