Leone's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy a water tank, chemicals, vegetable seeds, soil, and a rake.

Leone's story

Leone is a 43-year-old single mother with 1 child. She runs a business selling vegetables (cabbage and cucumber) in her community to earn a living. She has 3 years of experience with this business.

Leone is a Samoan citizen and she works very hard to satisfy her customers with her fresh vegetables. Every day, except for Saturday and Sunday, she delivers her vegetables to villages using a wheelbarrow. She believes that using the wheelbarrow is making her strong, happy, and healthy. Leone needs a loan to purchase more equipment - a water tank, chemicals, vegetable seeds, soil, and a rake - to help take her business to the next level.

Her dream is that one day she will earn enough money to buy her own vehicle to help run her business and send her child to school. She became a member of SPBD in 2016.
