A loan helped to buy animal feed for her dairy animals.

Caroline's story

Caroline, a 34-year-old mom of 1, has always kept her dreams of success alive. She believes that the adversities she faces are not reason enough for her to quit in life. She has been working very hard on her mixed farm. Every day, she rises early and goes to her farm to earn a living.

One way in which Caroline has decided to increase her income is by improving her dairy farming by buying dairy animal feed for her dairy animals. She has now applied for a 100,000 KES loan through Kiva's field partner Juhudi Kilimo to buy animal feed for her animals.

With more to eat and chew, the cows will produce more milk. More milk will mean Caroline will be able to both supply her family and aging parents with milk and sell it in the village, where there is a demand for it. Kindly be inspired and lend to her!
