Hola's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to buy pandanus for her weaving, help with their house renovation, and also provides for her family during the lock-down period.
Meet Hola. She is a 51-year-old mother of nine adults, and a wife of a farmer. Hola and her two daughters runs a business of weaving. Her daughters just join her few years back, but this has been Hola's business for more than twenty years. This business raised her children and now they have their own families and she still runs it. They weave taovala and mats, both with white and brown pandanus. Usually, the mats and the taovala are sold overseas by her sister, but because of the lock-down, Hola sell out the products locally, for a cheaper amount. She is a hardworking mother, and she hopes that her daughters will follow her footsteps. She is hoping to use her loan money to buy pandanus, and to also help with their house renovation and provide for her family during the lock-down.
