Palolo's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to plow her plantation, buy plantation requirements, and supply her family during the lockdown term.

Palolo's story

Meet Palolo. She is 63 years old, and she and her husband still run their own business of farming. They own a plantation where they grow diverse types of crops such as taro, cassava and yams. Normally they send their crops overseas almost every month. But due to the lockdown, their business runs slowly.

There are other farmers who also sell their crops along the main road and in some individual markets, and they are competition to them. Palolo owns a tent in the town-town area, where she sell out their crops. They have been running this business for more than a decade, and it is their family's main source of income.

She is hoping to use her loan money to plow their plantation and buy what is needed to supply their farm and her family during the lockdown.
