Fahamu Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on four sacks of wholesale cornflour to reinforce her initial capital.

Fahamu Group's story

Mrs. Sylvie is a client of Hekima IMF and she presides the "Fahamu" banc villageois. She is 38 and married with five children who all go to school. Her husband is a civil servant. She sells corn based foodstuffs, she started this business eight years ago with funds that her husband gave her. Later, she joined the Hekima programme to support her activity, and since, she has progressed steadily. With her new loan, she will buy four sacks of wholesale corn, which will reinforce her initial capital. At present, due to Covid-19, food products are not presenting any problems as the whole population is trying to buy food.

She wants to enable her children to continue studying and to develop her business. Finally, she thanks Hekima and their partners for their support for owners of businesses without market value during this context of global crisis due to covid-19. The photo is only of the leader of the group due to covid-19.
