A loan helped to pay for inputs to help increase her farm.

Salina's story

Salina is 46-years years old and has eight children who depend on her. She is a hard-worker who wants to triumph. She wants to leave her mark on the world. She is very independent and runs her own mixed farming business. She is very pragmatic and considers herself more hardworking than others. Salina started farming ten years ago from scratch to provide for her family.
Today, she keeps animals, grows vegetables and other food crops on her farm. Salina is seeking a loan of 50,000 KES to pay for farm inputs. Her farm is already plowed and ready for planting season, scheduled on rain onset. She is going to use the loan money to pay for inputs such as labor, seeds and fertilizer. She will make initial loan repayments using income from her small personal business as she waits for the crops to mature for harvesting. Income from this investment will be used to meet her family's basic needs. Support this mother so that she can be able to support her family during this economic recession.
