A loan helped to purchase dairy cows in order to increase her sales of milk to a local factory.

Dilbara's story

Dilbara is 52 years old, a widow, and she has a son. She has a secondary education. As the main source of income for her family, she has been working with livestock and agriculture since 1991. Thanks to her hard work, her farm today has 4 cows, 20 sheep, 3 horses, and a land share of 0.1 hectares where she grows beans.

She has a contract for the supply of organic milk to the local factory for the further processing into dairy products. This allows her to continuously invest in her agricultural business. Having found out that at the bank "Bai-Tushu," she can receive a loan secured by a contract for a future supply, as part of the value chain, she applied for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS) to buy dairy cattle with the goal of increasing her milk sales. The payments for the milk from the factory will be directly deposited into Dilbara's bank account, and payments for the loan will be automatically deducted. The proceeds from the loan will help with the further development of her farm and to finish building her home.
