Meyling's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy manure, fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides, etc.

Meyling's story

Meyling is 38 years old, married, and is the mother of two children. She is dedicated to growing basic grains with her business on the land what her father left her. She only produces corn and beans. Currently, she doesn't have other sources of income, except for what the land produces. In this first cycle, she has 7 acres of corn and 1.75 acres of beans.

The previous loan she got from Fundenuse and Kiva was very helpful because she grew what she had to cultivate, but it was impacted by a prolonged period of lower precipitation at the time of flowering. This greatly reduced the production. Despite this inconvenience, she succeeded in settling her debts.

She says that for this new cycle with the new loan, she will have the necessary products to provide good phytosanitary management to her corn and bean crops. For this reason, she is requesting her second loan from Fundenuse and Kiva to buy agricultural supplies for her corn crop.

The loan will have a positive impact since it will enable her to improve her life by producing a better quality crop, which will in turn, results in a better income. Her goal is to improve her home.
