Phillip's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped purchase farm inputs like fertilizers, mulching materials and herbicides to improve production.

Phillip's story

Phillip is a male Ugandan aged 30 years. He is married with 4 children and only two are school-going. He is a permanent resident in one of Kagadi's towns. He is a very hardworking and committed farmer growing mostly maize as a cash crop commercially.

Commercial farming has fostered the general well-being of Phillip’s family and enabled him lead a reasonably good life including educating his children and building a reasonably standard residential house thanks to Ugafode. This is his third loan.

He is further seeking a credit facility of 4,500,000 UGX to use as working capital for his business for specifically buying farm inputs like fertilizers, mulching materials and herbicides.

He believes with these he will achieve high quality produce which will compete favorably on the market hence fostering sustainability for his family and business.
