Total loan: $5,000

Virgen De Guadalupe Group

Mariano R. Alonso, Central Department, Paraguay / Retail

Virgen De Guadalupe Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase supplies for their barbecues, such as meat, condiments and chicken as well as refreshing drinks to sell.

Virgen De Guadalupe Group's story

The group called Virgen De Guadalupe is part of a program to eliminate povery. This is Cycle #7, where all fight for a better quality of life and to be able to give their families all that they could not have.

Among these women it is important to mention Norma, who has a modest sale stall where she sells barbecue and natural remedies. This helps her family have income. She is an entrepreneur that started with very little and dreams of being able to grow and overcome challenges everyday to help her family. She mentions that the way to do that is to be part of the group, which helps her achieve her goals.

She asks for this loan to be able to purchase supplies for her barbecue, such as meat, condiments, and chicken as well as refreshing remedies to sell.

The children in the photo are daughters of the members of the committee that ask for this loan.
