Salamat's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dairy cows to increase cattle headcount and sales of organic milk.

Salamat's story

Salamat is 34 years old, a widow with 2 children. She has a high-school education, and by nature she is hard-working, goal-oriented, and enterprising. She knows the ins and outs of running a farm and knows how to effectively invest funds. She has been raising animals since 2010 as the primary income for her family. She sells organic milk. Thanks to her hard work and responsible approach, she was able to grow her farm to 20 cows. She has 7.0 ha of irrigated land, where she grows green beans, clover, and barley.

In order to further grow her farm, Salamat has applied for a loan of 200,000 som (KGS) from Bai Tushum Bank to buy dairy cows, in order to increase her organic milk sales and income from breeding livestock. Salamat plans to invest the income from the loan into growing her farm further.
