Elish's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to pay for hiring the tent, to buy her own tent and tables, and also provide her family during the time of the lock-down.

Elish's story

Meet Elish. She is 30 years old, married, and has only one child. Elish and her husband run a flea market business, where they sell both second-hand clothes and new clothes from their tent. Her husband can also design plain t-shirts with whatever design the customers may want. Their business runs almost every day but their main marketing day is Saturday, where most people visit town. Her business is very much affected by the lock-down, as the market area is closed down therefore she has to find a spot around town to install her tent and sell her products. She applied for a loan to pay for renting a tent, to buy her own tent, and also provide for her family during the lock-down.
