A loan helped to add more products in his grocery store business.

Abdoul's story

Abdoul is a refugee, but more than that, he is married and a business owner. He has a proven track record of success. Since he opened his grocery store, it has gained a good reputation in the camp and has a strong base of loyal customers.

It all started in 2016 when Abdoul and his family fled the violence in Burundi due to political insecurities. After resettling in one of Kenya's refugee camps, Abdoul quickly started his business to provide for his family.

After participating in AEC’s business training program focused on improving financial management and increasing sales, Abdoul is requesting a loan to grow his business even more.

This loan will help him add more products to the grocery store business, offering his community more options, and giving him the opportunity to build a better life for his family by growing his business.
