Genesis Carolina's story

Génesis is a young 26-year-old woman and a single mother to two children. She has a degree in Communication Sciences, however, she was not able to find a means of putting her skills into practice, and so decided to create her own business. She decided to sell perfumes, children's clothing and white clothing for women and men. In this business she counts on six years of experience, a period in which she faced great challenges. Since she decided to start the business she has worked independently without family help.

She has knocked on the doors of KIVA together with MiCredito in order to buy blocks, zinc, cement, sand and purlins, with the goal of constructing a store and separating her business from her house in order to have more comfort. In the short-term future, Génesis plans to convert her shop into a successful store known throughout the area.
