Martha Ines's story

Martha is 51 years old and lives in the municipality of Dabeiba. She’s a happily married woman who has 2 children who are the love of her life. Her husband has provided for her so she didn’t have a job, but after seeing her husband struggles and the economic difficulties of her family, she knew that she had to do something to provide for her family. She knows it wasn’t going to be easy, especially in her town that is a post-conflict area where there are not many opportunities.

Two years ago Martha started producing cocoa, a business that has made her very proud and enable her to give a good life to her family. She dreams of being successful and seeing her family happy and safe. She’s asking for a loan to buy fertilizers and to pay for some labor cost to improve her cocoa production.
